Kitchen extension in Nansledan, Cornwall

This project focused on expanding the heart of the home, creating a seamless connection between the indoor living space and the outdoors.

The goal was to replace a cramped layout with a spacious, light-filled rear ground floor extension that serves as the new hub for the family.

The build involved a complete remodel of the existing kitchen, integrating it into the new extension to improve flow and functionality. To make this possible, we undertook significant enabling works, including the safe and strategic relocation of the gas mains—ensuring all utilities were perfectly positioned for the new layout.

Once the structure was complete, we turned our attention to the exterior. The rear courtyard garden was completely remodeled to become an extension of the living space itself.

By carefully designing the hard landscaping, we transformed an underused area into a low-maintenance, inviting retreat that complements the new interior perfectly.

The result is a cohesive property that offers style, practicality, and effortless flow from the kitchen right through to the garden.
